We, school officials, students, teachers, and members of different sectors firmly believe that education is a right. It is the obligation of the State to prioritize education in budget allocation to fulfill, promote, and protect the right to continue learning amid the pandemic.
Higher state funding is needed for our public univs and colleges to provide support for student, faculty and non-teaching personnel, and to develop the capacity of state higher education institutions for flexible learning modalities in the midst of a public health emergency.
Students and representatives from the administration will discuss the preparations for remote learning and student affairs programs for AY 2020-2021 in the UPLB Student Townhall Meeting today at 2PM.
