Today, I was out in #Ward8 talking with District residents about how our office and @ONSEDC_ are using violence interruption programs to help reduce violence and enhance public safety. 
@ONSEDC_ OAG's #CuretheStreets violence interruption program treats violence like a disease and works to interrupt it, treat it, and stop it from spreading.

One way to make DC safer is to try innovative ideas to stop violence.
This week OAG announced an expansion of our violence interruption program called #CuretheStreets. This program treats violence like a disease and works to interrupt it, treat it, and stop it from spreading.
