I am very happy to announce a new, open access, publication in @JEI_Publication 'The Covid-19 crisis: a critical juncture for EU climate policy development?', authored with @OberthuerSeb and @IngmarVon, @GovPA_UGent @govtran ➡️…
We analyse whether the EU's response to the #COVID19 pandemic can be seen as a potential critical juncture for EU climate policy development, by tracing EU climate policy developments before and during 2020.
A critical juncture can be considered an event that moves policy/institutional development onto a new path, implying that it causes change.

They know he's unfit & compromised…
Aside of Plutocracy & White Supremacy there is NO AMERICAN INSTITUTION that Trump, Putin's President of Carnage, wants to leave standing.

There’s no denying that the world is changing.

#Millennials, a generation of digital natives, raised with a global mindset, who are the most informed, educated and most connected generation in history, are in the forefront of navigating the world through these changes. Image
These under 40s have inherited a myriad of global challenges, and with the largest youth population in history, there is an unprecedented opportunity for the teeming Nigerian youth to take an active role in shaping the future.
Dear #millennials, tighten your boot straps because the change starts with you!

In the run up to the glorious 12th there will undoubtably be an increase in activity amongst certain parties in respect of the incidence and frequency of raptor persecution. Some will be real, some will be fabricated, others will be regurgitated from years past and some will
simply be ‘missing BoPs’, which could easily mean they have died of natural causes, something many wild creatures do.
Before progressing with this thread I have a message to anyone who does kill Raptors. You don’t represent me, you don’t represent the form of land use which I
know can deliver such outstanding biodiversity rewards. You do no good in these actions whether through ignorance of design. So please, please stop it, otherwise I hope you find yourself with nothing less than a custodial sentence.

What does light pollution in the U.S. have to do with the COVID-19 outbreak? For one thing, LP might be reduced over time if restrictions on federally funded outdoor lighting are enacted along with a possible infrastructure bill coming next month. (thread)…
The U.S. federal government funds a huge number of construction projects each year, whether directly (think federal buildings and highways) or indirectly (think grants to states). And it puts all manner of restrictions and requirements on how that money can be spent.
Those restrictions vary from very broad ('Buy American' requirements) to very narrow (prescribing construction materials/techniques for specific applications). Inevitably, federally funded projects include outdoor lighting, but past bills have had very little to say about that.

👋 it's me, a digital organizing director, here to share some things you can do to stay involved (from home) and to keep organizing in the midst of all of this 👇
1) Wash your hands & be nice to people (should be a given but ya know what? It's not)

Taking care of yourself by social distancing and checking in with those around you are the most important things you can do right now when the world is as uncertain as it is❣️
2) (After your hands are clean) What about hosting a virtual watch party for the debate on Sunday? Or for Tuesday night's primary contests? Here's one in PA happening via @AmandaSpina2, one of our amazing digital organizing fellows there! #VirtualWatchPA…

Here we go with:
"And the hits just keep on coming: Sex-specific effects of multiple stressor exposures on cognition"
Starting with @SEcksDifference setting us up well on the importance of early life stressor, working on limited bedding and nesting altering maternal care #Sfn2019
@SEcksDifference Limited bedding and nesting negly impacted maternal care, including affecting body weight throughout life, and gonadal hormones (elevating testosterone in males, estradiol in females. Interestingly an enriched environment there is also less time spent in nest building! #sfn2019
@SEcksDifference .@SEcksDifference showing the LBN model didn't affect vaginal opening or estrus cycle duration though, so unclear where effects on sex arise! Interestingly, prelim data shows that LBN enhanced male sex behavior, e.g., mounts less intromissions, and shorter latencies #sfn2019
