Did you know that you are required by law to have motor vehicle insurance before you put your vehicle on the road? This coming week we will be posting about this type of cover. Keep it here!

There are 4 levels of cover for motor vehicle insurance in the market. The first is “The Act Only”. This is the bare minimum motor insurance cover that you can purchase for your vehicle and it only covers liability for death and bodily injuries to third parties. Image
Before purchasing “The Act Only” cover, it’s important to note that it does not cover damage to third party property arising from an accident. Image

Folks! I just saw on @CNN that @JoeBiden is nationally TIED with the #SupremeLoser.
40% of those voting in-person are voting for Loser. Over 80,000,000 expected to vote by mail, which is scary. Recently, 500,000 mail-in ballots were rejected for error.

As someone who is vulnerable to #COVID19 , I understand your concern about in-person voting.
However, I now plan on voting in #EarlyVoting. Why?

When credible media suggests that, if #SupremeLoser wins on election night; and, WILL declare victory...even as #MailInVoting is still being counted.
That declaration is step one of #SupremeLoser plans.

If you are age 20-40 and are trying to decide if you should go to that party or hang out with your friends.... Imagine a bowl of 1000 M&Ms which will all give you COVID19. You reach in to grab a few.... what can you expect? 1/8
700 of the M&Ms will give you fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath. Lots of patients describe it as having "lungs on fire." 2/8
440 of the M&Ms will give you some pretty awful muscle cramps and aches. 3/8

It’s 100days tomorrow since my best mate of 21yrs sent me a series of whatsapp messages at 4am just before she was tubed. I’ve mostly gone with the ‘yep I’m fine’ line. In truth, it’s all felt a bit surreal going from ‘oh it’s ok she’ll just be tubed for a few days’, to sheer
horror when she crashed onto ecmo. By day 14 on ecmo and no improvement that went to a weird acceptance of the probable outcome. That became an ecmo Groundhog for 34days. A really dark few months, which has turned into extremely cautious hope in the last couple of weeks.
I wibbled a little bit yesterday when she thanked me for looking after her hubbie and toddler and that I was one of two ppl she called that night to ask to look out for them. Me and her brother. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We have so many people who lack even the most basic, elementary school-level science literacy in this country, who cite "decreased oxygen intake" or "carbon dioxide retention" as a reason it to not wear a mask in public.

This is clearly not grounded in any factual information or science.

If only there were some way to accurately measure oxygen saturation or detect CO2 retention while wearing the masks, then MAYBE the fact resistant contingent of our population who are throwing tantrums over
wearing masks for a few minutes at a time to shop at the market or pharmacy would MAAAYBE realize the error in their ways and recognize that they are only parroting erroneous claims that they've heard non-experts, who don't actually have their or the best interest of overall

The Reuters coverage (reuters.com/article/us-hea…) isn't very helpful, but the paper royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rs… seems useful. Money quote: "A key message from our analyses to aid the widespread adoption of facemasks would be: ‘my mask protects you, your mask protects me’."
Let's be fair, this is a model, and models are circular. They're a way to talk about what we don't know and to make reasoned guesses but not a way to "prove" something or even really to provide new knowledge. The crucial assumption they made here is that masks collect half of
the viral junk we spit out our mouths when we talk, laugh, yawn, yell, sneeze, or cough. That's not unreasonable. It's not the standard you'd want in a hospital for a protective mask, but for just preventing spread as people mingle about in public, it's not bad. Their model
