2. I thought hard on the question ā€˜What is a journalistā€™ when publishing the work of readers of #Webdiary for @smh online 2001-05. My conclusion: Adherence to the Media Alliance Code of Ethics. A ethical obligations are what defines journalists writing news, analysis or opinion.
3. I wanted to publish citizen journalism on #Webdiary, and my only requirement was that each contributor pledge to abide by Webdiaryā€™s code of ethics, which I adapted from the @meaa code for journalists in our union.
