It was the time we truly realised the power of social media and instant messaging services with regard to disaster management. Many were stranded on roof-tops without any other contact to the world other than their mobile phones. Whatsapp brilliantly solved the issue. (2/n)

Okay, since the #WeShallOverCome is getting some attention now, I would like to detail it to all who is asking me what it actually is. Here goes a thread πŸ‘‡
We have about 30+ members in the group who are from all around the world which helped us to work whole 24 hours for the last 4 days because we were having different timezone.
We were in touch with almost all the ground volunteers of differrent organisations, officials and even then rescue team which helped us to help others in need. They were very much helpful and putting their 100%.
