Ain't no Norman stone in #WoodlandNormanstone neighborhood. What you'll find instead is a rummage bin of salvaged, repurposed bits of #GildedAge D.C. This sandstone doorway here, believe it or not, was Teddy Roosevelt Admin. Secretary of State John Hay's Lafayette Park front door 
These arches were salvaged from 19th cent. historian, Presidential descendent Henry Adams' #GildedAge Lafayette Park home (now site of the @HayAdamsHotel). Samuel Clemens, Henry James, Theodore Roosevelt all walked through this doorway that's now a garage for that beat down SUV
