It's "let's talk Christian Identity Movement" time again, y'all.

Very short thread incoming.

'Synagogue of Satan' is a very specific CI phrase - an explicitly white supremacist Christian theology distinct from Christian nationalism. For more, read on.
What is "Christian Identity Movement?" you (didn't) ask?

I HAVE MADE YOU A FLOW CHART!

In short, it's Neo-Nazi Christian theology (not just racist Christianity - racism *IS* the theology).

For more in-depth explainers on what Christian Identity Movement is, and how it's distinct from other extremist (and mainstream) versions:

Here's a long thread of embedded threads:

Opened the garage door this morning to take out the trash, looking forward to working in the studio and

He’s cornered the mailman right out front, and was issuing him partially audible orders about delivery (that’s bad).

So drained, exhausted, frustrated. Trapped.
Anyone telling me to “show empathy; he’s mentally ill and needs help” catches a block.

That’s not an excuse to relentlessly terrorize every woman into being prisoners in our own homes.

It’s extra triggering if you’ve had an abusive, stalker ex — I can’t be the only one.
Worst part: knowing this psycho has telescopes and cameras monitoring the entire complex — including the front (and only) entrance.

Can’t swim, use the gym, leave the apartment complex, open the garage door, check the mail, take the trash out, etc.

My concentration is SHOT.

“Replacement Theory” — also known as “white genocide” is a very old, transparently white supremacist talking point.

Tarrant named his 2019 Christchurch manifesto after it.
It’s what Breivik meant by “cultural Marxism.”

Lemme break it down for you. Thread incoming. 🧵
‘Replacement Theory’ posits that bad actors conspire to dilute the civilizational (read: racial) ‘purity’ of a nation by allowing immigration to change demographics, and by extension, values.

You might say… the ‘browning of America.’

But that’s not [at all] all.
Replacement Theory’s bad actors are described as ‘globalists’ now by mainstream politicians like Matt Gaetz - thinly veiled code for… Jews.

“Elites / globalists want open borders and will destroy US sovereignty” means:

“Jews are flooding the country with Brown people”

You hear me talk A LOT about white supremacist infiltration of law enforcement and the military — and about how difficult the problem is to track.

So I figured I’d fill you in on at least one reason why:

Plea bargains.
IIRC, approximately 10% of criminal convictions are secured through jury trials - 90% result from negotiated plea deals.

Why does that matter?

Media coverage.

There’s a reason so many of you “don’t believe this is a real threat / never heard of this issue before.”
The plea bargain process (like the criminal justice system in general) is deeply broken - not just for white supremacist police and military personnel.

But RE those particular cases - no trials, no media coverage - the American public has no idea of what threats actually exist.

I happen to fit some of those categories also, so don’t assume or project.

But since the publication who tweeted this article is dedicated to higher education, and the article addresses that context, that’s why I’m commenting on that particular aspect of the pandemic.
And, because of factors my critic above mentions - like homelessness, poverty, and related marginalization mentioned and not mentioned):

I wouldn’t even alive today, let alone an academic, or able to help others, without mentors who took the time to care.

And that’s the POINT.
As you know from my thread, I’m clearly not the same as “higher education.”

I was homeless in high school, from a family too poor to afford trailer doors, so I’m aware of the dire state of the true working class.

Your criticisms are why I do what I do. And that’s the point.

Remember when we told y’all Matt Heimbach never left extremism, and was running a Neo Nazi rebranding op this whooooooooole time?

You got played and amplified a genocidal fascist — and with well only over a year of plenty advance warning.

Slow. Clap.

Matt Heimbach’s trial date for Charlottesville has finally been set.

… in case you wanted to know why he finally caved and exchanged his 100% see through CVE mask for the comfy old Atomwaffen adjacent Neo Nazi one
“Matt Heimbach was a Neo Nazi, then wasn’t, but is again? Why are you even giving him attention?”

Stop.

The CVE community needs to learn from this heinous mistake ASAP because it was communicated in advance, is inexcusable, dangerous, and has done plenty of damage already.

Before I jump offline to finish this, brief thread incoming:

Let’s talk MLK day and forgotten American history: how some states had to be forced to observe it.

Might surprise you that the story doesn’t take place in the old south, and the NFL played a key role.
Why did MLK Day become a thing?

Well, one reason - of course - has to do with white supremacy, political violence, and the Aryan Nations.

The year: 1984.
In 1984, Aryan Nations bombed an Idaho synagogue - one several attacks over the 1980s.

It was bad enough that national media paid attention.

Aryan Nations’ home base is Idaho - the governor wanted to mitigate negative press coverage.
