In Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp messages, the separatists warned that countries competing in the championship shouldn't go to the South West region as the games took place in the 20,000-capacity Limbe stadium there as well.
The government is assuring football fans from across Africa that the games will be safe and that steps have also been taken to stop COVID-19 from spreading.
