I have no shame to accept the fact that PSBs are far below in customer service standards in banking. Data and reports may differ but it's an outcome of my banking experience.

Even though after 1994, entry of big pvt banks in the banking, the PSBs have started to understand the essence of customer service but still there is a long way ahead..
It took time to realise d competition they have from pvt players to retain elite customers..

मैंने सोचा लोन का पता कर लेता हूं, आईसीआईसीआई में मेरा खाता तो है ही। मै शाखा के अंदर चला गया। अब निजी बैंकों के शाखा कितने शानदार होते हैं, बताने की जरूरत नहीं है।
बाहर धूप में टहलने के बाद, जब आप एसी वाले कक्ष में जाते हैं तो अलग ही आनंद आता है।

Insurance is a purely Voluntary service & Banks can't force customers to Buy policy but can advise. In reality 90% of Retail Loan Borrowers r somewhere policy holders of 1 or more Insurance policy. Its given them forcefully & Media can easily call some of the borrower to find out
Banks r into this Insurance business just as a Referral agent & without any Risk Participation. Means in case of any default or Fraud by Insurance company, customer can't held Bank responsible, Bank who sold the Policy to customer in 1st place. Its a open Fraud

Suicide of Farmers creates sensational news & Increase TRPs in India but suicide of Bankers never create news but printed in newspaers on 12-13th page in very small columns that went unnoticed. In 2015 alone 103 Bankers committed suicide.

In 2014, a 51 Year old Cheif Manager committed suicide & in his suicide note he wrote his last words as "Throw my Bones to the Dogs but don't let them(Bank Mgmt) touch it" he alleged his superiors for this drastic step that vandalize whole family life.
