1) #Turkey and the USA seem to be getting closer over #Libya. Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin has been on local channel NTV tonight, says 'We can't accept the support Russia gives to Haftar, we don’t believe this will support the political process in Libya.....
2) '...the US side on the other hand sees that Turkey's involvement in the Libya crisis brought a balance in the situation.' The US ambassador to Libya has also been on the phone to the leader of the UN-backed govt in Libya's capital, Tripoli.

#Libya #Alzintan In Daher Al Jabal detention center 180km from #Tripoli ~600 refugees & migrants from #Eritrea #Somalia #Ethiopia are held arbitrarily in inhuman conditions, including women & children. Many deaths are registered + lack of medical care & basic human needs.
#Libya #Alzintan Refugees received little food and a cup of water yesterday evening. Many have been living in these conditions for more than a year now. Horrific reality. EU leaders are complicit in this tragedy unfolding before their eyes.
May 2019. #Refugees & migrants arbitrarily held in Daher Al Jabal detention center in Al-zintan, 180km from #Tripoli, are denied humanitarian assistance. The inhuman conditions are well known by @UNHCRLibya but so far nothing concretely has been done to improve their lives.
It seems an independent auditor came to Abu Salim today looking into UN activities. The guards told detainees in advance not to mention that they haven't been fed for months (some of their families are sending them money to buy food with instead, which guards take a cut from).

Sorry for my confusion, the teenager above was being held in Qasr bin Ghashir, but has now been moved to the UNHCR facility in Tripoli for evacuation. He's asking for help for those he left behind.
