I'm really disappointed with something. REALLY disappointed.

I've been here all of two months or so, and I'm already thinking of leaving.

Why? The Zoo community treats one of it's own like shit, because they are conservative. I have a feeling I'm not the first.

It's sad too, we're one of the groups people look down on the most, and yet we politicize internally. This is ridiculous.
This is a group that refuses to admit problems with their community, accept blindly, promote vandalism ('sticker campagin'), and for what? Do you think society, or any govt. will accept you? With this kind of behavior?

You know what, since it's been in my feed a lot lately; let's talk about US Laws, Bestiality, and Zoophilia.

To start, Zoophilia is LEGAL, EVERYWHERE in the United States.

Zoophilia, more apt Zoosexuality, is the psychological manifestation of an attraction [sexual, romantic] to animals. It is IMPOSSIBLE for it to be illegal, that would be thought crime.
BESTIALITY, the physical act of sex with an animal, does not, and oft. IS NOT associated with Zoosexuality / Zoophilia, you can be a 'normie' and have sex with an animal.

The legality, punishment, and processing of Bestial interaction depends on WHERE you live in the US.

That we are all part of the same family and that we are related to every other living thing on earth.
Humans have been told for thousands of years that they are something special, by science, philosophy and religions. That we were made in "gods image" even.

So it comes as no surprise that they're still struggling with this new reality, that humans are just another kind of animal, and that they still don't want to recognize it.

Here's the rest of the context to that quote. It's good to show that the authors represented both sides, although clearly favoring one.
