警方自下午便在多數商場驅散民眾，與民眾發生數次衝突與推擠，讓原本應該是家族團圓充滿溫馨的母親節，染上了一絲不安的氣氛。（攝影／劉貳龍）

香港警方逮捕民主黨創黨元老、香港「民主之父」李柱銘、工黨副主席李卓人，及梁國雄、區諾軒、何俊仁、楊森、蔡耀昌、黃浩銘、吳文遠、陳皓桓等10位泛民人士。
港警也分別前往壹傳媒創辦人黎智英、大律師吳靄儀的住處，但兩人皆不在家。

根據香港《蘋果日報》報導，這次 #大搜捕 是因為去年8月18日與10月1日的 #反送中 流水式集會而發起。
因為事出突然，香港警方仍未宣布已逮捕的名單。立法會議員林卓廷在Facebook表示，被捕人士至少有12人，除了《立場新聞》公布的10位被捕名單之外，還有何秀蘭與黎智英。

黃之鋒在今天民主派人士被捕後，於臉書發文認為這次未必會讓他們罪成判刑，「但單讓黑警取得這十多人的電話，能夠讀取所有Whatsapp和Telegram的對話，以及看到所有手機照片，定必大大增強黑警情報網的完整程度。」他認為這次目的是要搜集民主派人士的通訊紀錄與資料，作為未來檢控參與反送中人士罪證。
