While we've created v1 of Seaport and are so excited to build on top of it, the Seaport protocol isn't just for OpenSea – it’s for all NFT builders, creators & collectors. Future development will be done in the open, in collaboration with the community.
Better minting & storytelling features are coming to OpenSea — introducing Creator Studio, a new hub (launching soon) that will house expansive tools for creating, managing, and analyzing your projects.
As part of this launch, we’re replacing lazy minting. More details below! 👇
In a couple weeks, we're launching Creator Studio with the fundamental, no-code tools to:
- Launch drops for your community to mint
- Mint items directly to your wallet
We’ll add many more features to Creator Studio over the coming months, including ways to add richer content to your collection pages. You’ll soon see new image, video, roadmap, and FAQ layouts to allow you more creative freedom to tell your story – right next to your items!
Today, we’re excited to unveil OpenSea Pro (previously Gem v2) – the fastest and most powerful NFT marketplace aggregator in the industry! Some history in the 🧵below
2/ Last year, we were excited to see the NFT ecosystem evolve as a new group of “power” collectors sought speed, sophisticated features, and bulk buying and selling from their marketplaces. We acquired Gem, the leading NFT aggregator, early 2022 in order to meet this moment.
3/ OpenSea Pro was designed for this power user community: it’s the fastest and most powerful NFT marketplace aggregator available.
On Thursday, April 13, we’ll be on the field with @webthreefc in an all-star soccer match against some of the most notable web3 projects.
16 teams, 2 leagues, 6 places, 1 winner.
Teams are shuffled into two leagues; The A League & The M League.
The top 3 from each league will progress to compete in the knockout stages for the ultimate prize. 🏆
The utility for this drop will have any K-pop fan over the moon— learn more 👇
This drop consists of puzzle pieces that make up G-Dragon’s original painting, “Archive 2016”. The painting represents his identity, life story, and personal evolution.
The puzzle pieces have different rarity and different benefits. Will you mint a rare one?
Every holder will get:
-Ability to order merch with your puzzle piece printed on it
-A physical certificate
-Access to a puzzle game created by PEACEMINUSONE
We’re making some big changes today: 1) OpenSea fee → 0% for a limited time 2) Moving to optional creator earnings (0.5% min) for all collections without on-chain enforcement (old & new) 3) Marketplaces with the same policies will not be blocked by the operator filter
2/ Context: There’s been a massive shift in the NFT ecosystem.
In October, we started to see meaningful volume and users move to NFT marketplaces that don’t fully enforce creator earnings.
Today, that shift has accelerated dramatically despite our best efforts.
3/ We’ve worked to defend creator earnings on ALL collections when others didn’t. And when we introduced the Operator Filter, it was our belief that on-chain enforcement was the best way for creators to secure their revenue stream from the ongoing resale of their work.
