A dozen people stood on the runway to greet President Obama in Hanoi, two dozen ceremonial guards marched to greet President Trump.

Obama’s motorcade was welcomed by children in flip-flops waving the Vietnam flag. Trump’s motorcade was greeted by gorgeously dressed Vietnam citizens waving both flags.
This is a minor difference but still significant. Notice the flowers, with President Trump they are red, white and blue a giant sign of respect towards America.
Again, flowers with President Trump are red, white and blue. Also body language, though they are different people so difficult to compare. Keep in mind, flowers are very significant in Asian culture.
This signing ceremony seems pretty much the same, flowers being the only difference, flags on table also closer together. Yellow and red are their national colors if that isn’t painfully clear by now 🤣 Red, White & Blue flowers still a big deal.
