This is my biggest fear and I hope it’s not lost today. We couldn’t survive a Florida 2000 in 2020.

In a close Electoral College vote, let’s say a 1-2 swing states with a D governors decide the presidency. Trump would claim voter fraud and I could seriously see him telling his well armed supporters to go to the streets. It’s terrifying.

His party had yet to prove it can check his worst impulses so what happens? If law enforcement moves to remove, Trump yells, “The Deep State is coming!” Suddenly a country with 300 million guns is in a major crisis.

This isn’t a hysterical conspiracy theory btw. It’s totally plausible and why the dereliction of duty, of providing a real check and balance on Trump from the GOP should scare people. This faux “national emergency” is the latest example of how we’re creeping towards chaos.

I pray that whoever wins in 2020 that it’s an Electoral College slam dunk like the last 3 elections because a close one could end or severely threaten our democracy.

Lastly, this comes on a day when Trump called Kim Jong-un a friend. Not to mention he’s tight with MBS, Erdogan and Putin. We all know what they have in common.

The Coast Guard shooter that wanted to kill Ds & journos, that was recently captured with 15 firearms & 1000 rounds of ammo, he searched the web about “civil war if Trump impeached” —stay vigilant nytimes.com/2019/02/20/us/…

Calling media the “enemy of the people,” saying FBI & Intel community is part of a “Deep State” trying to undermine you, alleging unfounded voter fraud in the millions re the popular vote, declaring a fake natl emergency...Count me worried about a peaceful transfer of power. END
