NEW INFORMATION: @MDSP says SUV spun out of control and crossed in front of the tractor trailer.
The truck could not avoid hitting the SUV. The vehicles crashed, and the SUV was slammed against the concrete barrier.
There were 3 men in the SUV. All trapped @wusa9 #GetUpDC
More: @pgfdpio had to pull men out of car, but as they were being rescued, the front passenger was pronounced dead.
The other two men were taken to the hospital. None of them have been identified.
