Today I’m introducing the #PAVEAct. My legislation will take three concrete steps to secure our elections:

📬 Require hand-marked #PaperBallots
🚨 Implement risk-limiting audits
🖥 For the first time ever, set cyber security standards for federal elections

For too long, the American people have lived in fear that their votes could be lost or tampered with. The failure of lawmakers to tackle this problem head on is eroding American democracy. The time to act is now, and my #PAVEAct is the way to do it.
