Yes @JasonCrowCO6! Suicide is a gun violence issue. The U.S. gun suicide rate is 10x higher than other high-income countries and access to a gun increases the risk of death by suicide by 3x.
This falls hardest on our veterans and our young people. 💔 #WeNeedToKnow

We haven't been able to study gun violence our entire lives. 20 years of no research, asking the same questions, is way, way too long. @RobinLynneKelly is speaking up. #WeNeedToKnow

Here's the thing: gun violence research has proven really effective at preventing future gun violence! It's just that we don't have enough of it to match the scale of the gun violence epidemic. Thanks @RepKimSchrier #WeNeedToKnow
