I appreciate the role @bostonchamber plays in bringing us together, giving businesses, academe and non-profits the opportunity to focus on shared goals and stay forward-looking.

Today I’m here to ask for your help.

In Massachusetts, the business community has helped lead the way on many of our most important fights - from workplace equality and fighting for LGBTQ rights, to making our case against the Travel Ban.

This state and this country needs to hear from you on the fight to #ProtectRoe.

Let’s send the message that women’s rights and economic independence are not up for debate.

We need to double down on clean energy jobs, economic development, and renewable energy for our state.

What we don’t need is more pseudoscience from an administration that claims climate change is a hoax.

We need your voice on #DACA and Dreamers – on #TPS and on asylum seekers.

This is a state where one in five workers was born outside this country – in Boston, it’s one in three. We need to speak out on their behalf.

Let’s work together to ensure our city and our state are as welcoming, as diverse, and as inclusive as possible.

It makes us better colleagues, it helps ensure we’re recruiting and retaining the best workforce possible, and it helps us better serve the people of this state.
