More coincidences?

I'll let you decide!
(A short thread ;-)
He landed on the concrete but, amazingly, survived. He suffered 60 per cent burns to his back and legs, cracked his skull, twisted his spine and broke his neck. He was to spend the next 8 months in hospital.
Lea Homburg survived; Mabel, his wife-to-be didn't. She impaled herself on the railings below after leaping from a window ledge to escape the flames. Lea's brother Adrian died inside the blazing flat, only identified by dental records.
At 13, Lea had followed his older brother Chris to the newly opened Bryn Alun children's home in Wrexham, part of the lucrative empire run by the child abuser John Allen.
The scale of John Allen's abuse made him wide open to blackmail.
Allen had groomed children to such a degree that his ties to them continued even after they left care. He plied them with gifts and made promises of more to come to stop them spilling the beans on him, particularly once police in North Wales were on his trail.
Lea's brother Adrian decided to turn the tables on Allen by blackmailing him during a private conversation at a flat at 11 Palmeira Avenue in Hove. Allen promise to return to 'settle the matter'. A date was set: April 17.
...
I believe Allen did return, but not as promised.
On the evening of Allen's return, Lea, Adrian and Mabel were at a party on the third floor of 11 Palmeira Avenue when a fire was started in the stairs. It was arson, first pinned on an unemployed air steward who walked out in front of a lorry just 4 days later.
...
But was it?
For those wishing to read up on this horrific event, I recommend the collection of articles put together by SpotlightOnAbuse.
For those needing a breath of fresh sea air, let's take a walk along Palmeira Avenue to Nos. 47-49.
