Nowadays the terms #ConspiracyTheory and #ConspiracyTheorist are used to libel everybody how dares to question any allegation by any authority, however absurd the allegation may be.

As every detective (cui bono?), I am a professional conspiracy theorist in the sense of an investigator who formulates (scientific) hypotheses about something, e.g. also about a crime that very often is a conspiracy, of course.

The political combat and smear term #ConspiracyTheory does not have any intellectual significance. The only good about it is that intellectuals & journalists who use it self-destruct publicly by unveiling that they are gatekeepers of powerful people.
