Imagine: An education system that breaks down all barriers in your way. Where you can be a doctor, lawyer, nurse or mechanic regardless of the 000’s in your families bank account.
Imagine: A time where students can learn and relearn throughout their lives, change career, and develop new skills FOR FREE. A flexible funding model where learning opportunities are attached to institutions with deep civic responsibilities.
Imagine: We have equal funding for Further Education as well as Higher Education. Where colleges and 6th forms are spaces of opportunity.
But we don’t have to just imagine. I have dedicated my time as your NUS National President to making this world a reality. You are now a part of a student movement that will work so hard to make this dream come true.
