be a tyrant. No. No one respects them either. But without self respect, you arent gonna be respected. It's certainly not easy, and if it isnt for you, fine. Go do you. But if you're thinking their isnt anything you can do to make your marriage better, listen up.
Work on you.
Yeah. Work on you. Be a better man. A better dad. A better husband. Btw these are things I struggle with daily so dont think otherwise. But since you have zero control on what other people do, focus on being better.
Get your weight right.
Get fit.
Get smarter.
Be more assertive.
Learn to listen.
Get your temper in check.
Face and deal with whatever baggage you have.
Now, there is a caveat.
Doing all of the above DOES NOT GUARANTEE that your marriage will get better. But guess what?
It might.
If it doesnt, that's ok. Sometimes thinga dont work out.
But if it doesnt, then you will be walking into a new chapter of life as the best version of yourself you could possibly be.
