If only we'd started to care about evidence, truth, and data before aeroplanes started to fall out of the sky. Who needs regulation eh?

A short thread today on the old adage that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

We found @BrexitParty_DS due to his rant about traitors.

But actually he's normally quite reasoned. Except for one thing. Darren really doesnt want to learn about the world, so he invents it.

In Darren's fictional world countries can be bought and sold on their worth, like footballers. Don't like one buyer? Another one's waiting.

His vlog below makes this plausible argument using Harry Kane
Only problem? Darren doesn't check the reality

Darren doesn't need long. In no more than 5 minutes online he could educate himself on the reality of tradeblocks. It's a simple concept.

In that one small piece of additional knowledge Darren's Kane analogy crumbles and probably his support of the No Deal con. Let's add reality

Harry Kane is at the end of his career. One club offers him a deal to be manager and sit on the board

He has only one alternative, but he'll have no say with them.

Harry should trade them off. But he spits in the eye of his old club before he's got a deal with the new one.

So Darren likes No Deal when he should realise it's less independence as an EU Vassal state. It's just basic knowledge on his main topic.

It is not stupidity. Within Darren's restricted view he's logical and principled.

He just hasn't bothered to read or learn.

Dont make Darren's mistake. Trade blocks, international agreements. They're not so hard, read and learn.

To make that easy we put this simple guide together on how No Deal fails every Brexit test.

But DON'T just believe us. Go learn test, be a skeptic.

Because when you're a child, the world is what you wish it to be.

As an adult you need to learn about how it really is, or you risk being conned.

if you want Brexit you should be more informed than anyone.

We're don't persuade. We ask you to learn more than the con artists.
