Apparently one of my threads went viral. So, cool. But what I found amusing about it is how much the Berniebros proved exactly what I was saying. I mean I literally told y'all that you try to silence women and people of color and y'all are up in my mentions telling me to shut up.
One of my friends pointed out that a lot of the attention I'm getting is just hate and she seems to be right. But on the other hand ... I'm not afraid of a bunch of white people disliking me. You won't be the first white person to try to look victimized after I've said something.
"If you strike me down I will become more powerful."
My followers have tripled in the past 24 hours or so. I'm sure some of those people are hoping to put me on a list but, in the DNC primary HRC won nearly 17 mil votes. I'm hardly the only person who espouses these views.
You have a responsibility to keep yourself. I'm not your mom and I don't have to make you happy. I also don't have to agree with you. If my commentary makes you so mad that you just rage tweet then ... don't read it.
I do wish many of you would really reexamine your position because honestly if your reaction to getting called out for racism is "reverse racism!!" then you have issues, but not everyone can be properly reflective. If you truly have nothing but rage and inaccuracy ... just go.
And as a last thought ... I read books and peer reviewed articles. I'm not going to sit down and read 1000 comments. And I most certainly am not going to respond to that many because particularly with all the bots and trolls it's just not worth it.
So for those of you, what I believe to be the majority who genuinely liked what I wrote thank you and I hope you stick around. It will be fun.
For those of you who lost your damn minds I'm afraid I just don't care enough about you to give you any advice or even block you.
