Media shouldn't play Trump & his party's game. They are trying to get folks to believe people calling themselves ANTI-FASCISTS - not the "proud boys" who start fights & throw the white power symbol openly to press cameras - are the ones you should think of as domestic terrorists.
They are running the ACORN playbook all over again -- back then it was making people fear a voter registration group (how horrible registering minority voters was!) huffpost.com/entry/2009-aco… Now -- literally- it's ANTI-FASCISTS you should fear. Come on y'all.
I watched fascists and neo-Nazis go to blows with anti-fascist s ("ANTIFAs") dressed up in face coverings and a kind of military cosplay live on TV IN Charlottesville. The Nazis were beating CLERGY w/ brass knuckles. The anti-fascists were punching Nazis. But I'm to fear THEM?
Caught in the middle were a lot of peaceful protesters standing against the Nazis. People like Heather Heyer. And those clergy who Nazis menaced the night before. We were live on air as this happened. Anti-fascists are not the threat. White nationalists are.
This is the same technique that was used to demonize Black Lives Matter or the Dream Defenders (as in MLK's DREAM, for Chrissakes). It's Orwellian. Don't fall for it.
