Trump says we have to vote for him or the economy will suffer. It’s another of his con jobs. Just look at the lies he’s told about the the American economy and middle class opportunity.
1. Trump promised to replace the ACA with something better. He came up with nothing.
2. He promised to never cut social safety nets. But his 2020 budget cuts the social safety net, like Medicare.
3. Trump promised to revive manufacturing. Under his leadership it has slowed and stalled with his trade war.
4. The deficit under Trump and the GOP senate majority has blown up to a trillion dollars a year. He said he would balance the budget.
5. The biggest lie of all - Trump promised a tax cut for the middle class that would push growth up 3%. His tax cut hasn’t done that and instead many in the middle class were hit with higher taxes as corporations and the wealthy got new breaks.
6. After 8 years of repair and growth under President Obama after inheriting a GOP recession, financial experts now fear another recession. All thanks to Trump and his typical GOP plutocratic economic policy.
