Unbelievable arrogance, disdain coming from the @GaSecofState and State Bd. of Elections this morning as voters tried to express their deep concerns about the new barcode voting system. SOS blew then off, gave them strictly 2 min each to speak--as if this topic is unimportant. 👇
2. He claimed that the reexamination requested by 1,450 citizens is "wasteful" and will not change the implementation plan in any way. That means that he has prejudged the outcome. He's going to skip steps and ignore the law again. The system cannot pass muster in an honest test.
3. He also claimed that petition signers would pay for the reexamination. He wants us to pay for him to do his job, when he did a completely shoddy job that failed to comply with the law when he certified on August 9. Just crazy!!
4. The St. Board seemed unconcerned and gave concerned voters the minimum time possible to speak about the problems with the voting system. They, like the GA lawmakers, simply want to cram this system through apparently because they KNOW that it can be manipulated.
5. That is the only reason officials would mandate this expensive hackable technology for all voters. They have been warned repeatedly about its vulnerabilities. Looks like the only solution will be in the Courts.
