The last 48 hours in matters #Brexit...
AAAAGGGGHHHHHHH
Endless screaming
On the UK side it is all shit. All of it.
We knew Johnson would be shit. And he is a shit. And he even goes and puts his feet on Macron's table and manspreads.
And doesn't listen to Merkel properly, and makes a sort of commitment out of 30 days.
And most of the British press are also shit, especially the tabloids.
No, Merkel did NOT offer Johnson a solution. Or more time. Or, actually, anything. She basically - politely - said go away little boy and do a bit of thinking.
And then the Daily Fail sees it as *progress*?
What, because she didn't tell him to his fat little face "Look you jerk, stop wasting my time, and Macron's time, and all of our time - you are the ones Brexiting, not us, and none of us wants a hard border in Ireland - so what have you got?"
And the British press, and British politicians, got so much the wrong end of the stick that Merkel had to put out a clarification:
And the UK's Ambassador to Germany goes on Welt TV too, and that's also shit. He is not stupid, but has to defend the indefensible, and hence comes across as shit.
And Nick Boles tries to justify why he wants to stop No Deal Brexit, but has no alternative whatsoever, and is too shit scared of an election, and shit scared of Corbyn (who on Brexit is also shit) to actually propose a way forward
And the settled status stuff for EU citizens in the UK thing is also complete and utter shit. Even folks like Rob Ford's mum who worked for the NHS for years cannot make the shit work.
And so it goes round and round and round and round.
And gets more absurd and more shit and then shitter still. And all the players in it, UK side, get more duplicitous and less moral as it all goes along.
It's pretty simple.
No Deal is the biggest shit of all. Stop it.
Johnson is facilitator of No Deal. So stop him with VONC.
There being no solution from this House of Commons, have election to get another one. It might be less shit. Or more shit, but at least decisively shit.
(Sorry for the rant, but I am at the end of my tether here - and we have another two months of this shit to go. At least.)
