I like Dan but come on. Why do talking heads feel the need to sprout "muh we are all Doomed" crap all the time.
1. The election is 15 months away. Not many people care at this stage. The vast majority of people do not tune in until labor day NEXT year.
But damnit we have to be anxious for the next 15 months? Please.
2. Fund raising for off election year is breaking records with RNC and Trump. Meaning more people are paying attention than normally.
3. 15 months from now the economy may or may not play a big deal in election
4. A day is a lifetime in politics. 15 months is infinity. This is why polls are worthless at this stage. This is why the "muh we are all doomed" crowd sap the strength of the base.
5. Think about it, which would you rather be for the next 12 months? Happy, fun loving,...
.......enjoying life, laughing at how Trump beats the crap out of the Dems/media daily.
Or
"Anxious", worried, fearful, nervous, afraid, depressed?
6. Which emotional construct will bring more people to the voting booths in 15 months? Which emotional mindset will ....
....help the economy, increasing funding, increase interest, grow the base?
Screw being anxious and afraid.
Eat, drink, be merry.
Enjoy the banquet that Trump has set out.
Laugh, have fun, dance, cheer, teach, love, talk, discuss.
Be Happy Warriors not anxious neurotics.
