If you get an alert randomly from an anonymous account, before you start singing "Baba God answer prayer...", find out who it was that sent it.
All transactions traceable to fraudulent accounts & owners will be listed and some explanations will be required.
I have seen people thanking God for some money they weren't expecting and didn't bother to know who was that generous to dash them money.
This is not the time. You have to be able to explain whatever comes into your account...and especially what you spend.
If any money lands in your account, find out who it was - don't be a victim of fraudulent transfers and money laundering.
Being mentioned on a list of beneficiaries of fraudulent proceeds can be a red flag...your account may be restricted or watch listed for a while.

Fraudsters get monies fraudulently and find means to "dry clean" it.
Usually, they send it to loved ones, make purchases with them making it look legit.
If you receive funds from abroad...you want to be very careful you have some knowledge of the sender and why they sent it.
CHURCHES need to be at alert.
People commit fraud and send it to Churches anonymously for Tithe, Offering, and all kinds of Gift for the purpose of "dry cleaning and appeasing their god".
Churches need to establish a KYC policy - in this case, it may be Know Your Members!
Churches can set a threshold: "Any credit to the Church accounts from an individual to the tune of N100,000 & above shall be subjected to further due diligence to identify and capture details of the donor"
For Corporate....N500,000 & above.
This should be a basic responsibility
Some fraudsters will intentionally send money to you and say it is a mistake and then ask you to send it to another account (even for a fee)....that is laundering "dry cleaning".
Get your bank involved. Get a letter from the person and let your Bank witness that exchange.
Take responsibility of whatever transaction that comes to your space.
Electronic frauds can only go undetected for a little while... It may be long but it will be found.
