Over the last few days, I have spent some time digging into the sordid connections between rapist / pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and various groups at @harvard e.g.,

I did this in part b/c, as a member of the scientific community, as a @harvard alum, as an evolutionary biologist (an area Jeffrey Epstein funded like group of @DrMANowak), the way this community sucked up to, palled around w/ & propped up Epstein, makes me sick

And I also did it b/c I was inspired by others who were relentless in publicizing the seedy underbelly of STEM (and other's) connections to Jeffrey Epstein - people like @xeni, @monaeltahawy @KirstyStricklan @jkbjournalist @dearsarah @rebeccawatson and others

So even though I would like to just scream into the void, I am going to keep digging, publicizing, & trying to help shine a spotlight on those who boosted the reputation & image of rapist, pedophile, predator Jeffrey Epstein in exchange for $$, fame, & God only knows what else

So here is some more digging - I have been using archive.org to loo at old web sites of Jeffrey Epstein & found these are basically all catalogs of how he used his connections to scientists like @drmanowak @sapinker @geochurch and others to promote himself

Take for example JeffreyEpsteinBlog.Com web.archive.org/web/*/jeffreye… - a huge % of this site is dedicated to how he funded, befriended, and palled around with famous scientists and others (basically all of whom were white men)

@eric_lander @geochurch The internet archive archive.org is am incredible resource here - lots of places to dig as Jeffrey Epstein had dozens of web sites all apparently dedicated to promoting his image as a benefactor and showing off his connections to famous scientists

And mind you - these people and institutions kept taking $$ from Epstein, went to his events, flew around to his villas, had lunches w/ him, sucked up to him long after it was publicly known that he was a sexual predator

@Harvard @UCLA The most disturbing testimonial about Jeffrey Epstein I have found so far is from 2014 from the website of @DrMANowak PED program at @harvard under a page labelled friends web.archive.org/web/2014032919…

@Harvard @UCLA @DrMANowak This is disturbing for many reasons including b/c it was long after Epstein's rape/sexual predator / pedophile behavior was widely known & b/c it makes clear just how tightly involved he was not just in funding but in day to day activities at the @harvard PED group

@Harvard @UCLA @DrMANowak As far as I can tell from archive.org the only person that the @harvard PED listed as a "friend" was Jeffrey Epstein ...

@Harvard @UCLA @DrMANowak And of course, now that "friends" link is gone & references to Jeffrey Epstein have been scrubbed from the site ped.fas.harvard.edu & no comment or apology as far as I know has ever been made by @DrMANowak or @harvard about their endorsement of a known sexual predator
