I think the challenge here is that there isn’t actually a direct way of finding this out. You have to find it indirectly. The Ground Zero approach is that you have to talk a lot about a lot of things with a lot of people, and be extra sensitive to what surprises or intrigues them
Once you find your first couple of surprises, it’s like striking oil, or a vein of gold - you can mine it for quite some time (and then subsequently the challenge is to avoid letting it become a schtick that overdefines you, turning you into a Flanderized caricature of yourself)
The other thing that helps a lot with this is to make friends with sensitive, curious people with good taste. You can talk to dozens of clueless people before one observant person notices something unusual about you. As you can see I perform this role for a lot of my friends
“You hesitated for a bit there, why?”
