5 hours into #PAXAus2019. I have some thoughts, as a newbie to the gaming community.
1. Anyone who thinks the film & tv biz has a lot of money is not understanding the meaning of a lot of money.

3. Definitely male dominated. But definitely not a hegemonic masculinity (I may recant this later. Panel on masculinity up next)
4. The people here are really NICE. Friendly, helpful, super engaged and engaging.

6. The asks about representation are easily delivered - write interesting characters with complex profiles. Stop stereotypes, tropes & death. 👍
7. Huge awareness of socio-cultural and political-economic power relations that underpin the global industry norms,
...and production/distribution practices. This lot is SWITCHED ON.
