JVL member spotlight: getting to know Michael Morgan, who peddles Nazi strength antisemitism
2/20 Only Labour’s so called ‘Jewish Voice’ could include people who accuse Jews of being Christ Killers. This is one of the oldest known excuses for visceral hatred towards Jewish people.
3/20 Morgan is a Holocaust denier. He shares a Holocaust denying post from antisemitic hate site vidrebel. It says the Holocaust and ‘false charges of antisemitism’ both need to be destroyed as they are the foundation for ‘illicit Israel’.
4/20 Morgan says ‘the Holocaust industry depends on a gross exaggeration of the facts’.
5/20 Morgan shares material from neo-Nazi site Daily Stormer. He says it’s ‘hilarious’ Jews were expelled from a Guatemalan village.
Although the article clearly refers to Jews, Morgan uses the word ‘zionists’ instead, demonstrating he uses it as a substitute word for Jews.
6/20 He thinks ‘zionists’ are animals who should be ‘exterminated’. This language may seem familiar to those acquainted with German history from the 1930s.
7/20 He posts material from neo-nazi conspiracy site AWD, who see Israel as ‘the real threat’ to the states. And under his post, to clarify things his friend says ‘kikes are nothing but parasitic creatures’.
8/20 Morgan talks about ‘the conspiracy of war mongering’ by Jews, who he calls ‘Zionist filth’. This comment is posted with an article from Hezbollah mouthpiece, Al Akhbar.
9/20 Morgan spreads the antisemitic medieval blood libel myth (Jews needing non-Jewish blood for ritual purposes). He accuses Jews of spilling blood weekly ‘just before Shabbat’.
10/20 He also has another version where he accuses Jews of burning Palestinian babies for religious purposes. This is posted from an hate site obsessed with demonising Judaism.
11/20 As you would expect, Morgan posts classic antisemitic Rothschild conspiracy myths, accusing them of funding wars
12/20 And of course, he has conspiracies about Jews controlling the media. According to Morgan Jews are also a threat to ‘world peace’. This is one of the ways Nazis justified the Holocaust
13/20 Whatever is bad in the world, Morgan sees Jews behind it. So there’s also paedophile conspiracies taken from a white supremacist website. Any myths you can imagine to demonise Jews - sorry, zionists.
14/20 Many of Morgan’s posts are naked religious hatred towards Jews. He considers himself quite the expert on Judaism when it comes to demonisation
15/20 Like a good Nazi, Morgan posts theories of dirty Jewish genetics
16/20 Michael Morgan signed the infamous letter to The Guardian ‘as a Jew’, in support of Chris Williamson. He even encouraged others to sign it. Morgan is not Jewish
17/20 JVL were behind the letter. Member Elleanne Green who also posts Neo-nazi material was the brainchild, along with member Abby Hoffman. It was Hoffman who later revealed that Morgan is a member of JVL.
18/20 Morgan is a notorious antisemite who is active on JVL’s Facebook page. He shares their posts defending antisemitism, as well as posts by other JVL members like David Rosenberg.
19/20 He is so active on JVL’s Facebook page that he has acquired ‘top fan’ status
20/20 Morgan is more a voice for Nazism than a ‘Jewish Voice’. He is a member of JVL because they are an organisation for antisemites to deny antisemitism. Promoted by the Labour leadership, they are an insult and a danger to the Jewish community.
