This one is a three segment podcast. Segment 1 is our longest and we do a journal club format. We take an article that got a lot of press coverage and discuss it to see if we think it meets the claims in the headlines. #SERplaylist #FoxSERjournalclub

We talk a fair bit in this segment about predatory journals, the cost of publishing, the challenges of academic research, etc. #SERplaylist #FoxSERjournalclub

Then in our third segment we have our Amazing and Amusing where we each bring in a news story or paper or whatever that either amazed us or amused us. We try to have fun with this one. Chris usually tells us about bees. #SERplaylist #FoxSERjournalclub
