1. It has been years since the outcry in #nirbhaya case. However rapes continue to go on across the country. No government has been able to solve the problem at a systematic level. When will India be safe for women ?
2. The positive response of the general public to the #Encounter shows that the Indian public has NO FAITH in the Indian legal and judicial process. When will faith in our institutions and systems be restored ?
3. Why is the prime minister @narendramodi and @AmitShah silent on the issue ? Doesn't safety of women in India concern them ?
4. While the #hyderabadpolice have been hailed as heros by the nation, they will face severe backlash from the legal system including suspensions and dismissals and possible criminal actions. Will India be ready to stand for them when they face legal action ?
5. Would a celebrity lawyer fight for these cops pro-bono if legal action is initiated against them ?
6. Will the Indian Twitter public be ready to crowdfund for legal defence for the #hyderabadpolice in case of legal issues ?
7. Are encounters the only justice left in India ?
8. Finally, I do feel we have had #justiceforpriyanakareddy but the root problem is not solved. I will reserve my opinions regarding the 'means' of justice here.
9. We need to fight the root cause and make sure this does not happen again.
