But I have three sources that tell me that another major investigation of a Toensing client (previously stopped then restarted) was “stayed” by the White House after direct contact with the agents involved. Just before Christmas. Agents began doorstopping witnesses then stopped.
That means Barr is able to say he will not intercede publicly but the White House has been stopping/slow rolling and staying investigations directly with agents so that Barr can play innocent. So why isn’t Firtash here? Now you know.
