Namaskara @Tejasvi_Surya. Residents of JP Nagar 9th phase, Anjanapura and the neighboring areas are suffering due to garbage related issues in their surroundings. There are landfills, garbage segregating units, illegal burning of garbage and illegal dumping of garbage everywhere.
This has been an ongoing issue for over a decade. Multiple complaints have been made and the issue can be seen discussed on the internet as well. When complained to BBMP, a temporary solution is given to 'resolve' the complaint but nothing has changed.

The development of the area has been stalled for over a decade due to this problem. Potential buyers refrain from buying sites around this garbage disposal unit and owners of sites don't construct their houses due to the garbage nuisance

Garbage isn't properly disposed in the unit. Instead, as you can see in the video, it is strewn around on empty sites and next to the streets. Even BBMP commissioned garbage collectors sometimes dump the garbage outside the unit and leave.

The garbage lying around is burnt frequently either by miscreants or the pourakarmikas themselves and this causes the whole area to be engulfed by toxic fumes. The landfill has polluted the ground water and the whole thing is slowly killing the few people who reside nearby.
Home owners who built their houses before the garbage issue started are at high disadvantage. They can't live in their houses because of the pollution but they also can't leave since one can't sell or rent their houses.
This whole issue has created a vicious loop where the area remains uninhabited due to the dilapidated condition of roads, public facilities, etc. and the conditions don't improve since no one lives in that area.
I kindly request you to please take a look into the matter. I know citizens mustn't complain to their MP for issues that come under their local civic administration but we haven't found any solace from the civic authorities and see you as our last hope.
I would be happy to furnish more information and share the exact location if you take up the matter. @Tejasvi_Surya @RishvanjasR 🙏
