@krishashok I would like to correct you. Technically, yes, the green beans and kidney beans belong to the same species of beans, Phaseolus vulgaris. But they are two different cultivars or varieties of beans which have been bred for different purposes.
Green beans, also called...
@krishashok ... French beans have been bred to produce thick, succulent, edible pods with small seeds whereas the kidney beans have been bred to produce tough, leathery, inedible pods with large seeds.
You can see the seeds of French beans in the picture below which are sold commercially.

Made a few comments yesterday on a thread by @omarali50 where he retweeted an old tweet of @ARanganathan72 about the mistranslation of the Nazi symbol 'Hakenkreuz' as 'Swastika' in english.
@shrikanth_krish As a relative 'grown up', I can accept that rote learning is good. But it's not been too long since I was a student and I still remember why I hated it them....
1/n@shrikanth_krish Rote learning might be beneficial at primary school level but I remember having to rote learn programs in C in my first year of bachelor's. In our exams, unless we 'wrote' down the program that was 'taught' to us, we were not allowed to run them on the computer. 2/n

Namaskara @Tejasvi_Surya. Residents of JP Nagar 9th phase, Anjanapura and the neighboring areas are suffering due to garbage related issues in their surroundings. There are landfills, garbage segregating units, illegal burning of garbage and illegal dumping of garbage everywhere.
This has been an ongoing issue for over a decade. Multiple complaints have been made and the issue can be seen discussed on the internet as well. When complained to BBMP, a temporary solution is given to 'resolve' the complaint but nothing has changed.
