Alright my #kacchako lovers! Here is a sequel of my recent commission for @crystymre. A link to the work on my AO3 is below! I recommend reading that first. I had so much fun I had to write an afterward #kacchakothread!

Title: The secret to a girls heart...is a good first date!

Link to the main story can be found here!

Ochako double checked the address on her phone for the third time to make sure she had the right apartment before pressing the doorbell. She heard the muffled echo through the door followed by a series of heavy set stomps that seemed to mirror the thudding of her own heart.

She quickly reached up, smoothing out her short hair, accidentally floating the soft brown strands nervously.

“Shoot!” She hissed, realizing what she’d done. She frantically pushed her fingers together, whispering a soft ‘release’, and opted for leaving her hair where it was.

Nothing would look worse than her hand standing up on end. She took two quick breaths to calm her nerves.

Not that she had anything to be nervous about. It was just dinner. With Bakugou Katsuki. Alone. In his apartment.

She vaguely wondered if the flat was as coveted a secret as his dorm room back in U.A. that no one had supposedly ever seen.

That’s ridiculous, of course it isn’t.

Ochako tugged on the hem of her tunic shirt. She hoped she wasn’t under dressed.

Since they were staying inside she didn’t think she needed to go over the top with planning her outfit: a white tunic with a floral design across the bottom and a pair of light green leggings. Knowing Katsuki, he would be dressed in sweatpants and a tank top. All black, as usual.

She snorted at the image until her brain remembered what his arms looked like in those sleeveless shirts and her face melted in a hot blush. Maybe she should stop thinking about this.

The sound of a click snapped her to attention.

Her shoulders relaxed as the door opened and the delicious smell of grilled meat wafted out to greet her. Her eyes drifted closed as she sniffed the air and sighed pleasantly.

“…You done…?”

“Hm,” She hummed softly with a smile.

Ochako blinked her eyes open to find Katsuki standing in the doorway. She cocked her head to the side, surprised to see that it wasn’t a chiseled tank top clad chest that greeted her. Instead, he wore a black t-shirt beneath a plaid red button down and dark wash blue jeans that—

hugged his thighs.

“Hi,” She greeted. Her eyes caught the crest of his pectoral peeking beneath the v-neck of his t-shirt. “You clean up nice…” Her gaze lowered to follow the faint outline of his abs. “No skulls…”

Katsuki cleared his throat, shifting to lean against the doorway. “It’s a date, ain’t it?”

Ochako blushed, holding her breath as she nodded mutely. Her brain was in the middle of appreciating the fact that Bakugou Katsuki took the time to dress nice for a stay-in-date with her.

“Yeah,” She smiled, “it is.”

Katsuki pushed off the door, stepping aside to let her in. “Then get in here, Cheeks. Food’s gonna get cold.”

Ochako wasted no time. She skipped past him, kicking her shoes off at the door.

“Wouldn’t want that...” She cooed, sniffing the air as her nose led her straight toward his kitchen without directions.

The door slammed shut and Katsuki joined her moments later, watching as her eyes roamed the spread that he laid out. “Oh my god...” Ochako wiped her lower lip.

Katsuki walked over to the table, pulling out her chair. “Sit.”

She sat.

He walked around the table and sat across from her, picking up his chopsticks. “Dig in,” he said.

She did, making sure to moan and groan through each bite of something new.

Her feet kicked beneath the table, catching him in the shins and knees every so often, causing him to grunt and grumble at her.

About halfway through their meal, Katsuki glanced up at her, watching her puffed cheeks as her jaw moved with each bite. “Oi, Cheeks.”

He called, catching her attention. “Don’t worry about saving anything for later.” He watched as her chewing slowed and her brows threaded into an adorably confused expression. “I already squirreled you away leftovers.”

Her eyes widened as her throat bobbed, choking down the large mouthful. “…You did?”

“Mm.”

Ochako licked her lips, trying to contain her excitement.

“Thank you!” She breathed.

“Sorry I’m not talking a lot. It’s just — this is all so good. I know home cooked food is the best, but this is amazing! It’s even better than when we were in U.A.!” She gushed, palm cupping her cheek. “I can’t help myself…!”

Katsuki smirked, leaning back in his chair.

He kicked his foot forward, catching her in the shin. “This mean I get a second date?”

Ochako felt her heart tackle her rib cage. “Maybe,” She forced herself to say instead of the ‘yes’ that was sitting at the tip of her tongue.

“Maybe?”

His foot slid away from her leg, but hers kicked out, hooking around the back of his ankle. “Yeah…” She drawled, lowering her eyes to try and hide the blush staining her cheeks a bright pink. “Depending on how the rest of the night goes…” She teased.

She watched the way color worked its way to up Katsuki’s cheeks. His foot pressed back into her ankle. “Better make it good then.”

🍡💥🍡DONE💥🍡💥

I just really wanted to write this short little afterward. I needed something cute and fluffy after a long stressful week, and I had to get it out of my system.

I hope you guys liked it ☺️💓
