3% males, and 9% females have experienced sexual harassment in the past year. Among females, the highest was reported among respondents aged 25-34 years, with 12% saying they have experienced sexual harassment, and 2% of those aged 65 and above experienced it.
Students constitute the highest proportion of female respondents (17%) that reported experiencing sexual harassment.
Note: Considering the sensitivity of the topic and stigma surrounding it, the reported figure is likely to be much lower than the actual number of people who have experienced sexual harassment.
