Our state and local elections are extremely important, for the actions of these elected officials determine the education of our children, the incarceration of our people, and the health and safety of our communities.
Here in Lancaster, we have the opportunity to vote out PA House Rep. Brett Miller who has a lifetime PA Environmental Scorecard of 13/100 and vote in @Micheleforpa41 who has plans to improve environmental justice and is endorsed by @lancstandsup.
Additionally, on the national level, this is our moment to vote out US House @RepSmucker who has a 7% rating from the ACLU, 3% rating from the League of Conservation Voters, and a 0% rating from the Human Rights Campaign.
In his place, we have the opportunity to vote in @SarahforUs, a progressive candidate who believes in the Green New Deal, universal health care for all, and abolishing ICE.
Finally, it is still important to vote for @BernieSanders this primary season.
The more delegates Bernie wins, the more power he has behind him to advocate for our policies. #NotMeUs
#TheStruggleContinues, and that includes getting "out" the vote.
The PA primary is JUNE 2nd.
