One major point in Tisdale's complaint was that Courtney Milan was mean about Davis' book on Twitter. She says that she "lost three of my Glenfinnan authors—not because they agreed with Ms. Milan and those of her ilk, but because they are afraid of any backlash from Ms. Milan."

The timeline here is... kinda making me raise my eyebrows.

Tisdale posts defense video of Grimshaw: Aug 24th
Milan posts her critique of Davis' book: Aug 25th
Tisdale files the complaint: Aug 27th

So basically Tisdale is saying that, in the two days between Milan posting the critique and her filing the complaint, three authors all left Glenfinnan.

I mean, I'd believe that, but I'm not buying that it's because people were afraid of Courtney.

Tisdale doesn't give any supporting docs, not even something as basic as a screenshot with names blanked out. It's just her word, more or less, that a few authors jumped ship because they were scared of the mean nasty Chinese lady.

But what we DO have is Angela Francis, who helpfully posts an email she sent to Tisdale on *drumroll* August 25th

I'm trying to establish just how many authors Glenfinnan has published. Before August 25th, there were 11 new authors announced on the GP Facebook page. Of those, 6 have since had books published by GP.

So there are 5 possibilities for authors who left because they were afraid of Courtney Milan... or perhaps they're like Francis and they left because they didn't want to be associated with Sue Grimshaw.

Only way to know which would be to ask, and I dunno if they'd talk.

Just some of the stuff I've been thinking about.

Tune in next time to hear about how Glenfinnan Publishing doesn't exist but the ISBN prefix used to belong to ANOTHER company that also doesn't exist because it was dissolved just after Tisdale's complaint was filed.
