He acted in only 1 non-Kannada movie, a Telugu film named 'Kalahasti Mahatyam', which in turn was a remake of his own Kannada film 'Bedara Kannapa'. The movies are based on the legend of Kannappa, who plucked his eyes to offer to Shiva.
