1/ I've said many times before that there's 3 basic categories of motivation: (1) greed (2) ideology (3) cowardice
"Ideology randomizes behavior" (my college yearbook quote). But greed is predictable. Cowardice is greed but with terrible info inputs
2/ The GOP right now 99.9% consists of greedy thieves, lowlifes & cowards. Everyone greedy & intelligent has left congress (there are exceptions for those who have independent power bases, Kasich & Ohio, Romney & the Mormons - but they are still acting as cowards)
3/ The cowardice also randomizes behavior for the same reasons as ideology: the info input is arbitrary. Cowards don't see info clearly while ideologues have unpredictable hierarchies of value

4/ Because, yeah, Trump (ym'sh) is the titular leader of a White Supremacy cult & his leadership & identity is now an independent entity that has no connection to his actions. It's creepy but the facts on that are clear
This explains why his popularity floor is around 40%
5/ The floor will remain b/c of the cult (I still hope revelation of his finances will puncture half of it... but they seem to be Jonestown level Kool-Aid), but there's a crucial structural reason for his sustained popularity in the GOP: FoxNews
Fox made him & keeps him
6/ So given that Fox has truly created & sustained the cult, that they (& Sinclair) successfully keeps 40% of the country in the dark, the GOP don't actually NEED Trump (ym'sh), especially when he's pushing drinking Drano
They could run a ham sandwich and Fox will make it work
7/ Now, I do have Cypess' Razor #2: if I think someone is being stupid or irrational, it's likely because I lack information
That still holds. But I do have a *lot* of info on McC & the GOP. They've missed too many offramps. They also have all the signs of evil & cowardice
8/ 50,000 people dead, 30% unemployment, Spain is getting back to work while there's no end in sight in the US, DJT is firing the people who make vaccines & stealing PPE so states will suffer...
All rationality says to dump him now. Let FoxNews elevate Pence-Nikki Haley for Nov.
9/ With Pence-Haley they could still commit crimes against humanity - their ultimate goal - and appoint unqualified judges to maintain their White Supremacist Theocracy... but they won't
