#OncoAlert #AACR20 This registry included patients with thoracic malignancy and #COVIDー19. Enrolling rapidly and this presentation describes the first 200 patients entered. Comorbidity rate is high, as previously reported. #LCSM

#OncoAlert #AACR20 Most patients with #COVIDー19 were receiving treatment (74%), which may reflect the patients seen by participants, though patients in follow up also at risk. Most common symptoms: fever (64%), cough (52%), dyspnea (54%) and fatigue (27%). #LCSM

#OncoAlert #AACR20 Complications from #COVIDー19 in patients with thoracic cancers are striking. 80% with pneumonia and 27% with ARDS. 8% had multi-organ failure. 76% hospitalized. Mortality rate from this registry so far: 35% (66/191). Much higher than previous reports. #LCSM

#OncoAlert #AACR20 High mortality (35%) in patients with thoracic cancers and #COVIDー19 but note only 9% transferred to ICU and under 3% with mechanical ventilation. Some of the high mortality may be due to insufficient resources in areas hard hit by the pandemic. #LCSM

#OncoAlert #AACR20 No specific treatment conferred greater risk. Factors associated with greater risk being sought - risk of greater risk in males also noted. Early data - this will continue to evolve as the registry grows. #LCSM
