When I wrote this essay "The Nod", I held on to it for 2 full years. Out of fear, mostly.
Even though I knew it was important, it meant so much to me when it was accepted.
I cried when I saw that it was chosen again.
I am crying now.
I feel so seen.

Tell it.
Do you have a unique voice?
Use it.
Do not be afraid. Your lens matters. Your story matters.
You matter.
