Endlessly curious about the human bodymind. Making the unconscious conscious. Trying to embody courage, integrity and love. Tripping on meaning.

𝐎𝐧 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 [Thread]

Looking back, one of the things that has had the biggest impact on my life is writing.

It is a habit I developed unintentionally.

I was lucky to get access to the internet very early in my childhood. (Thanks dad)

And I spent countless hours of my life engaging in pointless debates with strangers on the internet.

Pretty much every topic under the sun. Not really proud of it.

But it forced me to learn how to write and articulate my thoughts like nothing else.

Because my ego was at stake. So I gave everything to one-up the guy(s) on the other side.

Wasted a lot of time, but at least something good came out of it.

And funnily enough, along the way, I also made a lot of friends across the world.

Anyway, I'm only starting to realize the many intangible benefits of writing.

And that's why I'm writing this thread... to urge you to write.

Your day. Your opinions. Your learnings. Your insights. Your struggles. Your life.

Could be anything. It doesn't have to be fancy or beautiful.

For yourself. On a blog. Or a journal. Your social media. On a wall. Whatever.

It will level up your thinking rapidly.

When you stutter while writing (which you will, it's okay)... you'll be forced to fill the gaps in your knowledge and thoughts.

It will make your thinking more structured and less chaotic.

Your communication skills will get so much better.

It will increase your awareness and help you process your emotions much better.

I could go on and on. It's a life-changing habit.

As you write regularly, you'll see your thinking develop right in front of your eyes.

(When you look at your old writings and cringe haha)

And hey, now seems like a good time to give it a shot.

Start with a small target of 100 words a day? Shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes.

Again, it can be anything.

On that note, I'm going to be more frequent with my writings.
